Last Holiday is an American film back in 2006, it is one of the best romantic comedy-drama that stars Queen Latifah and LL Cool J. It is about a woman named Georgia who works as a humble department store assistant who was told that she had a rare brain condition and only has a few weeks to live. After hearing about this, she decided to spend her remaining funds on a luxury holiday in Europe before she dies.
Believing that she is going to die soon, she checks into the Presidential Suite, buys designer wardrobes, checks herself into a spa, does snowboarding, eats succulent meals and wins herself a small fortune playing roulette in Casino. It’s the kind of film that you need to watch if you are having a long tiring week at work. It makes you say what if, and just tickles your brain to have a much needed relaxation and respite from all life’s troubles.
9. Deck the Halls
A dad played by Matthew Broderick is obsessed with Christmas decors, his identity in town is to be the Christmas lights master, but his world was turned around when a kooky neighbor played by Danny De Vito came to town. Together they turned Christmas decoration as a contest and things got weirder and funnier by the minute. If you are looking for something not so cheesy and a classic Christmas film that the family can enjoy then Deck the Halls is for you!

This is a classic movie that has so many epic lines. It has a strong 80’s film. If you feel like catching a movie that will allow you to look into the life of the Upper East Siders of the late 80’s then this would be suitable for you. It is full of odd moments, but is sure to still challenge your imagination.
It is a cheap movie about expensive people, the movie consists mostly of conversations, and a story of adults that fall apart over time as they reach adulthood. It is an excellent indie film about culture and young adulthood.
7. While You Were Sleeping
If you still want to have that romantic feels during Christmas then While You Were Sleeping is perfect for you. It is a Sandra Bullock classic and one of the movies that solidified her career in the rom-com industry.
Films like these exude decency, pureness, sweet, elegant and is very family friendly. It is classic romance at its best! The movie is not just about loving your partner, but loving all the other important people in their life, she didn’t just fall in love with hi, she fell in love with his entire family.
6. Scrooged (1988)

It has lots of humor, and could be considered as the best Santa Claus film there is.
4. It’s a Wonderful Life
The film is about a man named George Bailey who has given up his dreams to help others, and whose imminent suicide was planned on Christmas Eve. A guardian angel intervenes and shows him how he George was able to touch the lives of others and how different life would be for his wife and his community if he had not been born at Bedford Falls.
A timeless classic, that is a definite must see and holds key lessons that the heart would treasure forever.
